badradio was an idea formulated in the Empire Tap Room in Palo Alto in 1995. I was working at Netscape. The internet was new and exciting. We thought we could bring the underground FM stations we listened to into the new internet era. I registered the domain badradio.com and then found that the idea was way ahead of the technology. The bandwidth wasn't sufficient, tools to stream did not exist and hosting architecture was sketchy at best. The idea was put in the back of my head for 31 years. Now I'm retired and AI is the next new thing and I felt... it's now or never! I hope you enjoy what we're doing. Listen the way we have always listened. Discover what you never knew was out there.
